Kabbas Restaurant - Had some good fish and papaya salad

5 Drunk Men - Cool bar looking out over the river. Paid around $6 for a beer and $4 for a mocktail

New Town Pizza Restaurant - Had some ok breakfast here. 

Cool Beans - Nice Indian place we went to for dinner.

Cousin’s Burger & Coffee- Great burger place

Street food - It’s everywhere. It’s cheap. It’s delicious.

To do and see

Cambodia-Vietnam Friendship Monument - Commemorating the relationship between the two countries after the war

Wat Phnom - Temple up a little hill. $1 entrance fee to get into the area with the temple.

Wat Botum - A complex of buildings with a Buddhist temple.

Royal Palace - A complex of buildings including temples and the residence of the king

King Norodom  Sihanouk Monument - Monument to the late king of Cambodia

Independence Monument - Memorial to the late king Norodom Sihanouk

Chhma Catfé - Cat Cafe full of cute cats. $2 to get or $1.25 if you buy a drink

National Museum - It’s a museum. Looks pretty cool on the outside but we didn’t have time to go in.

Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum at S-21 - Old school that was turned into a prison by the Khmer Rouge. $5 entrance fee or $8 with an audio guide (worth it)

Choeung Ek Killing Fields - Former cemetery where the Khmer Rouge brought people to be executed. 


I hope this helps someone enjoy their trip to Phnom Penh. Any prices were for when I went to Cambodia and could have changed since.
