Playing Catch Up — Myriad Misadventures

Alright everyone, this is going to be a little like that flashback at the beginning of the first episode of a TV show after the mid-season finale, or that terrible recap episode in the middle of a season of anime. That would normally be bad news because everyone hates those, but you're in luck! Since you missed the first half of the season (read: I didn't start a blog then) you need the recap. I spent a couple of years after college in Spain doing the Auxiliares de Conversación program (which I'll try to make a post about later). While there, I poked around Europe a bit, although nowhere near as much as I should have. Something something hindsight. After my second year I decided to move to China. I had studied Spanish and Chinese in college. My Spanish had gotten better, and I felt I should go to China to get my Chinese up to snuff (which has NOT happened).

I've been here for a little over a year now and I've seen some stuff, but work keeps me pretty busy (I have a much realer job than in Spain). I should be able to get out soon though, for my benefit and yours, since you all get to live vicariously through me. So I hope you all stick around and see what I get up to!
