To Indonesia! — Myriad Misadventures

I finally finished posting all of the videos from the trip to Tokyo I took in 2019 . I’d wanted to go to Japan for a long time and it was a great trip (check out the playlist). Japan absolutely did not let me down. That being said I couldn’t help but catch myself thinking about the beach while I was there.

Bali had been on our radar for a long time. Before we met Max had been there and she kept telling me we had to go, but for whatever reason the trip never materialized. Well I went hard summer 2019. In addition to the Tokyo trip with Jake I also planned a trip with Max to Bali in Indonesia. In fact we left for that trip only two or three days after I got back from Tokyo. I was packing the trips in that summer. Needless to say I couldn’t wait, even while I was wandering around Tokyo.

We planned the trip for about a week and a half, one of the longer trips we’d taken, and our first stop was Ubud in Bali. After that we planned to spend a night in Padangbai and then catch the ferry to a smaller island called Gili Trawangan (which actually isn’t part of Bali). After a couple of days there we we’d head back to Bali to fly back to Shenzhen. And this week I started the videos. Check them out and keep your eyes open for the rest!

Tokyo was incredible and I couldn’t have asked for a better trip. But I’m a beach guy and the promise of Indonesia hung over me the entire time so I obviously couldn’t wait to get started on the summer’s second trip.
